Led by His Grace Abune Gerima, Bishop of the Gedeo, Kore, and Burji Diocese, Muhaze Tibebat Daniel Kibret, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Chairperson of the EBC Board, conducted an extensive visit to various developmental projects within the Diocese.
The visit commenced at the Andida Residential School of Traditional Ecclesiastical Studies (Abinet School). The delegation observed the teaching-learning process and toured self-sufficiency agricultural initiatives, including a poultry project, as well as classrooms, dining facilities, dormitories, and administrative offices. Subsequently, they visited Enset cultivation and beekeeping projects at Dama Saint George Church, followed by an inspection of the Bishop’s Residence (Menbere Ppisna) building currently under construction within the premises of Dilla Debre Gnet Saint Michael Church.
The tour concluded with an observation of the water and poultry projects also located at Dilla Debre Gnet Saint Michael Church. At the end of the visit, Muhaze Tibebat Daniel Kibret commended the Church’s multifaceted development efforts aimed at community service and financial self-reliance.
