Regarding the inquiries raised concerning the “fully healthy” criterion and the registration procedures in our Diocese’s recent job vacancy announcement, we hereby provide the following clarification:
First and foremost, the term “fully healthy” is intended to ensure that applicants possess the physical and mental well-being necessary to perform their assigned duties effectively. Accordingly, as long as an applicant has the capacity to competently perform the essential functions of the accounting position—such as meticulously verifying documents and performing computer-based financial tasks—any physical condition shall not be considered a disqualifying criterion.
Furthermore, we wish to clarify that the requirement for medical evidence is solely to verify that the applicant is in a state of health that enables them to fulfill the responsibilities of the position and to ensure overall professional fitness; it is not intended to facilitate any form of discrimination.
Finally, for applicants who are in remote locations and are unable to register in person, we announce that you may register online by submitting all necessary and complete supporting documents, as specified in the announcement, via the official Diocese email address: Office@eotc-gkb.org.
